By accessing or using AI Voiceover Generator ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Description of Service

AI Voiceover Generator is a web-based service that converts CSV study materials into natural-sounding audio files using artificial intelligence text-to-speech technology.

The Service supports multiple voice options including Microsoft Edge TTS voices (free tier) and OpenAI premium voices (paid tiers). All audio generation is processed in real-time and files are immediately deleted after processing.

3. Account Registration and Eligibility

You may use the Service without creating an account for basic functionality. Account registration is required for:

• Paid subscription plans
• Usage tracking and history
• Access to premium features

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.1 Free Plan

• Unlimited audio generation with advertisements
• Access to Microsoft Edge TTS voices only
• Personal and educational use only
• No commercial use permitted
• One generation at a time
• 5MB file size limit

4.2 Basic Plan (£9/month)

• 100 minutes of audio generation per month
• Access to all Edge TTS and OpenAI premium voices
• No advertisements
• Up to 3 simultaneous generations
• 15MB file size limit
• Personal and educational use included
• Commercial use requires Pro plan or higher

4.3 Pro Plan (£19/month)

• 300 minutes of audio generation per month
• All premium voices included
• Commercial use license included
• Up to 5 simultaneous generations
• 50MB file size limit
• Priority processing
• Email support

4.4 Team Plan (£35/month)

• 500 minutes of audio generation per month
• Team dashboard (up to 5 users)
• Commercial use license included
• API access
• Priority support
• Advanced usage analytics

4.5 Billing and Payments

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually
• Annual subscriptions save 15% compared to monthly billing
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• All prices are in British Pounds (GBP) unless otherwise stated
• Overage charges apply when monthly limits are exceeded
• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period

5. Voice Licensing and Commercial Use

5.1 Microsoft Edge TTS Voices

Microsoft Edge TTS voices are available on all plans, including the free tier. These voices are licensed for:

• Personal use
• Educational use
• Commercial use is NOT permitted with Edge TTS voices

5.2 OpenAI Premium Voices

OpenAI premium voices are available on Basic, Pro, and Team plans. Commercial use rights:

• OpenAI TTS API allows commercial use for API subscribers
• Commercial use license is included with Pro and Team plans
• Basic plan users may use OpenAI voices for personal/educational use only
• Commercial use requires Pro plan or higher

5.3 Commercial Use Definition

Commercial use includes, but is not limited to:

• Using generated audio in products or services sold to customers
• Including audio in commercial courses, training materials, or educational products
• Using audio for marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes
• Redistributing or reselling generated audio files
• Using audio in any revenue-generating activity

6. Content Ownership and User Responsibilities

You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload and the audio files generated from your content. However, you are responsible for:

• Ensuring you have the right to use and convert any content you upload
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not uploading content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Not uploading content that is illegal, harmful, or violates these Terms
• Using generated audio in accordance with your subscription plan's licensing terms

We do not claim ownership of your content or generated audio files. All uploaded files are processed and immediately deleted from our servers.

7. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates any laws
• Create audio that infringes on copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
• Generate content that is defamatory, harassing, or discriminatory
• Attempt to reverse engineer or extract voice models from the Service
• Use automated systems to abuse or overload the Service
• Share account credentials or allow unauthorized access to your account
• Use the Service for any purpose that violates these Terms

Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate termination of your account without refund.

8. Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Maintenance and updates
• Technical issues or failures
• Third-party service dependencies
• Force majeure events

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from such modifications or discontinuation.

9. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for all paid subscription plans:

• Refund requests must be made within 30 days of initial subscription
• Refunds are processed to the original payment method
• Refund processing may take 5-10 business days
• Refunds are not available for annual subscriptions after 30 days
• Overage charges are non-refundable

10. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time:

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
• We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms
• We may terminate free accounts that have been inactive for 12 months or more
• Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease
• No refunds will be provided for termination due to Terms violations

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or suitability of generated audio
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not responsible for any loss of data, content, or generated audio files

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AI Voiceover Generator, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.

13. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
